On Saturday May 23, 2015 two of the Carmel varsity wrestling team members traveled to the Albany Academy in Albany, NY to wrestle in the Titan Duals. This wrestling tournament is a fund raiser for the Leukemia Lymphoma society and the off season Ironmen wrestling team which both Greg and Ahken participate with always attend this tournament. Both Greg and Ahken who participated for the first time in this tournament did great. Ahken went 4-1 while Greg went 2-1. Ahken also was awarded the Most Outstanding Wrestler trophy at the end of the tournament. It was a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with plenty of wrestling battles that were fought out.

Carmel ended their lacrosse season on a sour note by being shut out today 11 – 0. What happened Carmel? Is it maybe the boys were tired or maybe because it was the last game of the season? Who knows but all in all the Varsity boys never quit. Well maybe next year things will be better.

Carmel’s Senior Night

On Friday May 1, 2015 Carmel Rams hosted New Rochelle. this was also Carmel’s Senior night where they honored five seniors that they will be losing to graduation in June. It was a GREAT night for lacrosse with the Rams beating New Rochelle by a score of 10 -8. CONGRATULATIONS go out to the boys varsity lacrosse team for a GREAT game and a FANTASTIC WIN!!!!!
